Choosing Mary Hare School for your child

"My aim, and that of my staff, is to ensure that Mary Hare School caters as well as it possible can, for all the needs of the hearing-impaired pupils who are placed here"
DAJ Shaw
Principal
The school is set in lovely surroundings of 140 acres of Berkshire countryside in the Thames valley, one hour from London, one hour from Bristol, one and a half hours from Birmingham, and less than an hour from Southampton. We have excellent facilities: six laboratories, computer suites, library, an excellent technology suite and a purpose built sixth form centre for pupils over the age of 16, where students have single rooms or share with one other. All have en-suite bathrooms. The Princess Margaret Art Centre was opened in 2001 and the new Arlington Arts Centre (Performing Arts, Conference and Education) opened in 2006. A cottage in the grounds is available for parents, so that they can visit and stay. There is also a small caravan park for those who wish to use it.
