Sir Richard Branson, Charles Dunstone, the co-founder of Carphone Warehouse, and Jacob Rothschild, the patriarch of the Rothschild family, have proposed to give away 10% of their estates to charity in their Wills.

They are among leading business people who have signed up to the Legacy10 initiative, a campaign to encourage the public to leave 10% of their wealth to charity, after taking care of family and friends.

Rob Cope, director of Remember A Charity, said: "Anyone who leaves 10% of their estate to charity can reduce their inheritance tax bill by 10% from 6 April 2012.

"But legacy giving isn't just for business billiionaires. If we all left just a small amount to our favourite charities in our Will, we could make a big difference."

By leaving a gift in your will for the benefit of Mary Hare you will be making an invaluable contribution to the future of our work so that many students will benefit in years to come. Please contact us for further information about making the necessary arrangements.
