Enjoy High Quality Service and Support a Local Charity Too
While being internationally renowned as a specialist school and registered charity supporting profoundly and severely deaf young people, Mary Hare is also fast gathering a strong reputation as host to high profile conferences and events.
Spread across its two sites, Mary Hare can offer the perfect space for most occasions – from a Grade 2* listed mansion to a purpose built arts and conference centre.
Both spaces come fully supported by an experienced, professional team of caterers, duty managers and technicians and all profits from your event go directly to the charity.
Standing outside Arlington Arts Centre it’s easy to forget that this tranquil setting is literally just off the M4 (A34) junction 13.
Conceived to support the various activities of Mary Hare and to provide improved access to the arts for its students, this purpose built centre is equipped to host conferences, meetings, training and launches for as many as 250 delegates.
Over the course of its first two year Arlington Arts has hosted two large-scale, international conferences and over 100 short training courses and corporate meetings for clients such as Vodafone, Dreweatt Neate, Chartered Institute of Marketing, BSHAA, Oxford Brookes, West Berkshire Council and many others. The centre has also become the permanent home for all of St John Ambulance’s training in the Newbury area.
