Will you take aids that the manufacturer no longer repairs?
Yes, we will repair old hearing aids that are out of warranty with the original manufacturer.
How long will the repair take?
The turn around for most repairs is 2 - 3 working days. If parts must be ordered the turn around can be longer.
What does the warranty cover?
The Hearing Aid Repair Shop (UK) Ltd warranty covers the hearing instrument for all Non Amplifier related component failure. If the amplifier can be replaced there may be additional charges not covered by the warranty. The HARS warranty does not cover damage, loss or theft of the device or the need for a new ear mould, Case/ shell/ face plate. There is no warranty on the clean, check & test service.
Do you send aids away to be repaired?
We repair hearing aids in-house in our premises near Newbury. We are not a 'middle-man'.
Do you use original parts?
Yes, original parts are always used where possible. However, in some older aids the original parts are sometimes unavailable and in this instance the nearest equivalent will be used.
What about my hearing settings, which have been programmed into the aid. Will they be lost or changed during the repair?

Yes, we provide you with a free of charge, no obligation quote before proceeding with a repair.
Do you share my personal details?
We will not share your personal details with any other company. However, you will have the opportunity to choose to receive information about all our hearing services, should you wish to do so.
