"A Perfect Day...."

Many couples who get married at Mill Hall write to tell us how much they have enjoyed their day.  You can read some of them below.

A Dream Wedding

Following their Christmas wedding at Mill Hall, Auriol and Emanuele Palladino wrote:

"We honestly couldn’t rate Mill Hall highly enough. Within five minutes of seeing the venue and meeting Faye, we knew it was the place for us, and was more than we could ever dream of. Faye was a fantastic support before the day itself, which really enabled us to enjoy the preparations.

Paul, the chef, was exceptional – top quality food, perfectly cooked lamb for 130 people, and went out of his way to accommodate special requests to give everything that personal touch. Fran, the duty manager, was equally fantastic on the day at making sure everything ran smoothly, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. And, of course, not only was the venue itself stunning, but the fact that all the profits go to charity is just perfect. We have such treasured memories to keep for the rest of our lives. I would recommend this venue without hesitation to anyone."

Vicki and Chris Ball, who got married at Mill Hall in late May, wrote to say: “We can honestly say (the wedding) was the best day of our lives and a large part of that was down to Faye, Paul and the team at Mill Hall. The building speaks for itself -  a beautiful building and stunning grounds making the perfect backdrop for the day. Support and preparation in the build-up was fantastic and a real calming influence on the usual wedding chaos. On the day the wedding ran so smoothly – staff were fantastic and attentive but were able to blend into the background when required. The food was exceptional, as was the service. We were so lucky to come across this little treasure of a venue.”

Following their  wedding at Mill Hall this spring, Rachel and Jack wrote to Mill Hall to say, "Thank you so much for providing the most amazing venue for our wedding.  You made our day so perfect - the service (especially the food) was great and all our guests commented on how great the place was."

Delighted newlyweds, Laura and Jason Meredith, wrote to Mill Hall’s Catering Manager, Paul Leverton, to say:

“We just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful job you did catering for our wedding. It really was superb. Everyone said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. It really was so tasty and your staff were impeccable at serving it. It really was the perfect day and you made it very special. I had complete trust in you and that made it so easy for me to have a stress free run up and completely fantastic day. So many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! With Faye and Fran behind the scenes making sure all went to plan, you really are the best team. All that on top of one of the best venues in Berkshire - if not the best one!”

Following their summer wedding, Sarah and Bill Durack, expressed their thanks to the Wedding team, saying

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did to make our day truly spectacular! Everyone had such a fab day and were full of praise for you all. The food and service were second to none, and we were so impressed that you went the extra mile while still making everything feel really personal.”

From start to finish all of you have been very helpful. Many of our guests have commented on what a lovely venue Mill Hall is and how good the food was. Thank you again and we would definitely recommend Mill Hall as an excellent venue for a wedding.”

Following their honeymoon, Samantha and Richard Twyford, wrote to Mill Hall to say: “We had an amazing and perfect wedding day. Words cannot express our thanks to you and all the staff at Mill Hall, you really did make our special day totally perfect! Summer bride and groom, Dionne and Murray Winch, wrote to Mill Hall to say: “We would like to thank you and your team for the outstanding service that we received in the build up to and during our special day. Of course we were expecting a wonderful day, but were not expecting the huge compliments we received from our families and friends praising the venue, service, service and food; everything was just perfect and if we could do it all again, we would do it all again at Mill Hall”.

Newlyweds, Kelly and Aled Humphreys wrote to Mill Hall recently to say “Thank you all for helping us to plan and organise such a fantastic wedding day. Every part of the day was perfect. Mill Hall is a real gem and so are the staff working in it. We are still receiving compliments about the venue, food, staff and setting. You couldn’t do enough for us and we are very grateful.”
