Our lovely Primary School is in Newbury, Berkshire. We offer day and weekly boarding places to primary aged pupils with a hearing impairment. Our key aim is to develop pupils’ English and to develop their self esteem.
Small class sizes, acoustically treated classrooms, the full national curriculum and no signing in lessons. In addition, all our teachers are subjects specialists and Teachers of the Deaf.
We are the biggest centre for deaf pupils wanting to study A Levels and BTECs in the UK. We offer a wide choice of academic and vocational courses, lots of deaf peers and a great social life.
Our alumni are great ambassadors for the school. Their involvement is great from giving talks to current pupils, raising funds for us and being involved in generally marketing our wonderful school.
We offer a wide range of courses for professionals, some in partnership with other organisations. We provide accommodation on site for our residential courses and provide an excellent space for professionals to network.
