Julie Gilham/Coombes (1946 - 2022)
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Julie Gilham (also known as Julie Coombes) who passed away on 3 March.
Julie worked closely with the sixth formers and the BTEC and GNVQ courses and was popular with students at Mary Hare. During her time at the school she arranged many successful trips, including some international ventures, which the students always enjoyed.
Julie's husband, Pete, who also worked at Mary Hare, wanted to share this news about Julie with former pupils and parents who will have known Julie during her time at the school.
The funeral took place at Bournemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 23 March, which was attended by Principal, Peter Gale. 'Whilst funerals are inevitably a sad occassion, this was a celebration of a full and varied life, and it was a privelige to be able to attend'.
