Rock Heroes
We may be close to Christmas but the competitive spirit is alive in our Maths department.
Years 7, 8 and 9 pupils are taking part in a range of teambuilding maths activities today including Times Tables Rockstars, 'a carefully sequenced programme of daily times tables practices.'
The day started off with our Year 7 pupils forming four teams and pitting their knowledge of times tables against each other as they answered quick fire questions on line on their times tables. The atmosphere was tense but filled with excitement as they cheered each other on and vied for 1st place!
The pupils take part in TT rockstars throughout the year but were really happy to be part of a wider competition.
There is nothing like learning and having fun at the same time!
