How can parents help?
The best help would be to take your children to see live theatre and talk to them about it. Asking questions about interpretation: why do you think the director chose that costume/piece of music/style of lighting/setting/etc? or: what did that mean/how did it make you feel/how might you do it differently? Does the work relate to any practitioners you know?
Taking them to see theatre will not only help them with the final exam, it will also give them a broader palette of experiences to draw on when making decisions about their own performances.
