Georgina Woods, Governor

Georgina has a long interest in education.  With four children at school this is currently focused on primary and secondary education, with a focus on residential provision. In the past she has been a member of the PTA at Bucklebury Primary School, a volunteer at the Mary Scott school for the Blind in India and, most recently a trustee of the Mary Hary Foundation since 2017, where she has been involved in fundraising.  Her career has been in the costume and textile industries, working earlier mainly in film and theatre and now self employed.  She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and has a second degree from Wimbledon School of Art.
