Bernadette McGhie, Governor

Bernadette is a practising solicitor and qualified paediatric and general nurse, as well as a CEDR accredited mediator which is an area of expertise that she is developing further.  Before joining Mary Hare, Bernadette had previously been a trustee of a major charity and a community school governor as well as a member of the Baby Lifeline MPAP (multi professional advisory panel).  She was the key instigator for research that led to the Mind the Gap maternity training review. This report of national training provision has been widely acclaimed and referred to by the Department of Health.
