Learning

You will be stretched at 6th Form!  You will discover talents you thought you never had!  Staff will share in your excitement and enthusiasm.

We will expect you to study independently but we will help you develop the skills to do this through a 'learning to learn' programme.  You will need to study for about three hours after school either in your own room or in our library or computer rooms which are open until 9 p.m. during the week.  These study skills will prepare you for studying at a higher level either at University or College.

'I've been here for two and a half years and it's the best thing I ever did.  I feel more confident and happier - I only wish I'd come here in Year 7.' (A past 6th Former).

Curriculum options

All our courses fit into the national framework of qualifications and most attract UCAS tariff points.  You may already know what you want to study at 6th Form.  If so, then you can find links to each subject below.
