TEACHING AT MARY HARE
Applications for teaching positions are welcomed from both Teachers of the Deaf and teaching of hearing children who are interested in a unique opportunity. Teachers without a formal qualification to teach deaf children are required to qualify, through in-service training, within 3 years of appointment. Funding for these courses is provided by Mary Hare School.

Two Teachers of Science

Two teachers of Science are required to work in this highly successful Science department, which offers a full range of GCSE and A Level Science courses. We are looking for one teacher with the ability to teach Physics to A Level and the other Biology at A Level, even though others will be considered.
Last year, over 90% of Year 11 students gained a GCSE grade C or higher in Science. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of subject specialists, working with small classes of academically capable students, in a rewarding environment.
TLRs are available for the successful candidates who will have a management responsibility within the department (to be negotiated).
