Victoria Ryan

Victoria joined the Mary Hare Board of Governors in July 2026. 

Victoria has been a teacher for over 30 years, working in a variety of schools in both academic and pastoral roles. For the last 19 years she has worked as a Housemistress and teacher in a local boarding school where her focus is on the Safeguarding and welfare of her pupils as well as preparing them for the world beyond school.  Her academic subject areas are English and Drama, and she also delivers the EPQ provision in her school. Being deaf herself gives Victoria an insight into the challenges faced by the Mary Hare pupils.

Victoria is the Governor for RSE/PSHEE and Anti-bullying and is a member of the Education, Residential Care and Pastoral Committee.
