If you believe a young person is in immediate danger please contact the Police. If you are concerned about the safety of a young person in our school please contact the safeguarding team.
Mary Hare School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We have an effective safeguarding culture where we foster an honest, open, caring, and supportive environment. All staff maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’ and are trained on recognising and reporting safeguarding issues.
We recognise that pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities or certain health conditions can face additional safeguarding challenges and are 3 times more likely to be abused than their peers.
