Con Powell Scholarships
BATOD, on behalf of the Ovingdean Hall Foundation, administers the Con Powell Scholarship to provide bursaries for teachers wishing to train as a Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People (ToDs) but who are not are not working as a Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People (ToD), so the local authority (LA) or school is not obliged to support financially.
Once you have applied to our PG Dip Teaching Deaf Learners (QTOD) course, you can then apply for this Scholarship. Deadlines to apply for this scholarship close on 7 April 2026
Demant Foundation Bursary for Educational Audiology
There is a partial bursary for the first 15 Educational Audiology accepted places, courtesy of the Demant Foundation totalling £2000 over two years of study.
