Make a donation

The Mary Hare Foundation is the fundraising arm of Mary Hare School.  Development of new facilities and updating of existing ones depend wholly upon fundraising and donations. 

Our work to raise much needed funds is therefore key to the future of Mary Hare School and its ability to provide excellent provision to so many deaf pupils.

I started working part time at Mary Hare 20 years ago when my daughters were very young, working only at weekends. As my girls became older, I worked some evenings until eventually I became a full-time member of the team and heading the year 7 residential house. I stay because I love my job. Watching the young people find their identity, confidence, independence and voice as they journey through the school. To see them leave Sixth Form as well rounded young people, makes all the hard work worthwhile and I feel so proud of them.

I am delighted that you are considering Mary Hare School for your child's education and hope that you enjoy browsing our website and that it gives you a great insight into everything we offer. 

The school mission to transform the lives of deaf children and their families by providing an empowering and aspirational school is central to everything we strive to achieve. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see our pupils grow in self esteem and confidence and leave Mary Hare with the necessary qualifications to choose their own path in life.
