BackAfter spending 20 years employed in the corporate world, Sarah first joined Mary Hare in March 2013 as a part time receptionist before joining the Mary Hare Training team in 2014.
As the administrator for the MA/PG Dip Deaf Education Studies (Teacher of the Deaf) course, Sarah’s role is very varied, from dealing with course enquiries, applications, through to registrations with the University. She works closely with all module leaders across all 8 ToD modules, duties range from assisting the Teaching & Learning module leader with all aspects of the 20-day teaching placements, liaising with the placement supervisors, listening to student feedback, which has always been highly complementary of the course administrators, and helping them with any course related issues or concerns they may have.
As part of the Courses administration team, Sarah helps to ensure the smooth running of the on-site study weekends that take place at Mary Hare, 5 times a year. Sarah is also the administrator for the Mary Hare Exceptional Circumstances Panel which deals with all aspects of student wellbeing related issues.
