Autumn 1
Year 10
Timbers, Metals, Tools and equipment, Stock forms, Product analysis
Pupils complete a section of theory on a material area and then carry out a practical task to reinforce the skills and theory aspects of the materials.
All lessons have a starter exercise to analyse products, that promotes thinking skills, product analysis and development and language skills to prepare pupils for the NEA at the end of the year.
Year 11
During year 11 pupils complete the Non Examined Assessment (NEA) based on the exam board issued contexts before revising for exams in the summer term.
