Mary Hare School has received the platinum award for pupil progress for GCSE results this summer. This identifies that the School is in the top 10% of all schools nationally, (including mainstream and independent schools) for pupil progress related to GCSE results, which is a fantastic achievement.

Vice Principal, Curriculum, Chris Adams said: “This celebrates the hard work and dedication of all the staff at Mary Hare who contribute to the success of our pupils”.

Robin Askew, Principal added: “We are immensely proud to be given this award that recognises the achievements of both students and teachers. Everyone at Mary Hare School is dedicated to enabling deaf young people to reach their full potential and equal, or surpass, the achievements of their hearing peers. This shows that Mary Hare School does just that, giving deaf pupils the opportunity to shine and set their sights high.” For more information about Mary Hare School, visit: www.maryhare.org.uk
