Paddington Bear visits Mary Hare

Back
A student sat centre stage in a Paddington Bear costume which consists of a light blue duffle coat, red bucket hat and brown trousers. A railway sign above the student says Paddington.

In December, the students wowed families, friends and audience members with their annual winter production, Paddington Bear visits Mary Hare.

Paddington Bear came to visit Mary Hare, he had an adventure and survived a scare. He shared in the music, dance and drama; it was a show to remember just last December.

Our Christmas productions are always a fantastic way for our students to get involved, from dancing, performing, to singing and even supporting in back-stage roles.

Some words from our Head of Performing Arts, Neil Farrow, "The winter production was a marmalade feast, with students of all ages from across the school helped to put on a sweet spectacle, bursting with tangy talent and zesty performance; it was possibly the most bearilliant show yet."

A couple of students also shared a few words:

One Year 7 student said, "it was my first ever show and I loved the dancing!"

A Year 11 student view: "it's such fun to perform the songs you have been rehearsing for weeks to an audience."

A Sixth Former view: "getting the chance to act on stage is something I never thought I would have, until I came to Mary Hare."
