Standing out from the crowd
Our primary school was delighted to receive a donation of 35 hi-vis vests from David Wilson Homes recently. With the nights drawing in, these vests will ensure that our primary pupils are more easily seen when out and about on school trips.
Road Safety Week runs from 16th to 22nd November and this year is focusing on speed with the 'No need for speed' reminder being highlighted.
Rache Solly, Assistant Head at the school said, 'we hope to put the vests to good use, particularly now that the darker morning and nights are here. It is important that our deaf children are more visible when out and about and the hi-vis vests will enable this to happen. The extra support for our school is greatly appreciated.'
