Taking it Freestyle

At Mary Hare pupils have the opportunity to take part in many different sports and swimming is always one of their favourites.  As well as swimming when at school, many pupils continue their love of this when back at home.  As with many passions and hobbies, this can lead to new and exciting things.  Jasmine one of our Year 8 pupils found just this.  Her love of acting and of swimming landed her with the ideal opportunity to audition for a part in CBBC’s mini drama ‘Freestyle’.  Jasmine was successful in getting the lead role which features a young deaf girl who has set her sights on taking part in the Deaflympics.

We caught up with Jasmine to find out more.
