Head of Faculty - Science

Teacher Pay Scale + TLR + SEN

As the new Head of Faculty, you will be expected to manage the Science Faculty and to be a member of the Heads of Faculty team. You will also be expected to teach science at KS3 and 4 with the possibility of A Level.

Science is taught at all Key Stages. Years 7 to 9 follow a course based on the Science National Curriculum using materials adapted for our own pupils. At GCSE students follow the AQA Combined Science Trilogy specification or can opt to study Separate Sciences in Biology, Chemistry and Physics with AQA. A smaller number of students study for an Entry Level Certificate or Level 2 BTEC in Science. All three science subjects are offered at A Level.

Teacher of Maths - Maternity Cover (Secondary School)

Hours: 1.0 FTE (Fixed Term until 4 November 2024)
Salary: Teacher Main Scale 1 - 6 + SEN1

This challenging and rewarding post offers the opportunity to teach across the ability and age range from 11-18 with well-motivated pupils within excellent surroundings and facilities. The maths department has its own suite of rooms all fitted out with interactive digital screens with plenty of additional practical resources to make lessons enjoyable. 

The successful applicant will ensure high standards of teaching and learning of mathematics are delivered as set out in the curriculum in accordance to departmental and school policy.

Teaching Assistant & After School Club Assistant - Primary (FTC)

Hours: 33 Hours per week, Monday - Friday during Term-Time. The role also includes 2 hours per week (Mon-Thurs) for After School Club.

Salary: £18,058.38 (£22,537.50 FTE) gross per annum

Be part of the team helping the pupils at Mary Hare Primary to learn to grow in understanding of themselves and to develop their knowledge skills through the curriculum – with the aim of making each child a confident, self-motivated, and independent learner.
