Deaf Professor teaches ASL
Professor Rachel Bavister, ex Mary Hare pupil is now teaching ASL in the United States. Rachel attended Mary Hare from 1955 to 1961 and, although she learnt orally, she believes in the joint use of sign language to communicate.
